Dr. Wilson has resided in the Chardon School District since 1991 and was first elected to the Chardon Board of Education in November 2011. In November 2019, Dr. Wilson was re-elected for a third term. He and his wife Karen have a son and daughter, both of whom are CHS graduates. The family resides in Hambden Township.
Dr. Wilson, who has a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry, was formerly a visiting Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech, and is currently Associate Director of Research and Development Services for a Fortune 500 company.
In the Chardon community, he is active in Community Theater and has served in a variety of volunteer roles within the Chardon Schools.
