March 8, 2024 — Chardon High School freshmen visited Lake Erie College in Painesville on March 5 as part of 4Es Exploration Day. The Chardon 4Es represent the four career pathways available to students after high school graduation:  Enrollment, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Enlistment.

Hilltoppers engage in guided 4Es exploration and development throughout their years in Chardon Schools with future readiness in mind and a 4Es plan in place at the time of high school graduation.

Chardon freshmen spent 4Es Exploration Day exploring the Enrollment component — touring the Lake Erie College campus; learning about College Credit Plus; attending presentations by STEM and Accounting professors; and hearing about the recruitment process for collegiate sports.

CHS Guidance Counselor Heather Patterson stated, "It was an absolutely beautiful day to experience Lake Erie's campus and to learn about the many opportunities available there and at other colleges for our students."
