One Book Coming Right Up!
Story by Rebecca Fullerman, CHS '24
Content Development Specialist
In collaboration with the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) team, the Park PTO has been generous in funding student behavioral incentives such as the book vending machine. HOW IT WORKS
“Topper Tickets”, part of the school's implementation of the PBIS program, are awarded to students by staff as a special recognition for demonstrating one or more of the following behaviors — Taking Responsibility, Offering Kindness, and/or Persevering!
Students can now cash in their Topper Ticket for an "Inchy Token" and visit the vending machine for a new book to read!
Did you know Park is a PBIS Silver Award school?!
PTO APPRECIATION
In response to the arrival of the book vending machine, Park Principal Jill Makee stated: “We are grateful for the collaboration and support between Park PTO and the District's PBIS initiative. Together, Hilltoppers Climb to the TOP!”
The 2023-24 Park Elementary PTO officers are as follows: president Shannon Kaufman; co-VPs Tiffany Klinger and Mandy Rosplock; secretary Katie McCartney; and treasurer Megan Ghobrial.
