Tickets on Sale for CHS Fall Production of "Radium Girls"

October 29, 2023 — You're Invited! The Chardon High School Drama Department will take the Park Auditorium stage at 111 Goodrich Court on the Square on Nov. 9, 11 and 12 — bringing their fall production of playwright D.W. Gregory’s Radium Girls* to life for the Chardon community!

Radium Girls is a historical drama that begins in the 1920s and is based on the true stories of a brave group of women who worked in the radium-dial factories during World War I.

Believing the lies told by the radium companies, the women unknowingly subjected themselves to danger as they ingested the chemical. Over time, the truth unfolds and life-altering side effects develop.  When no one stands up for the women, they take things into their own hands and fight for their justice.

The cast and crew of the CHS Drama Department look forward to sharing the women’s powerful stories with you!
