October 9, 2023 — The Chardon High School guidance department ventured out with juniors and seniors on Sept. 27 for the school’s annual field trip to the Northeast Ohio College and Career Fair held on Kent State University’s Kent campus. CHS guidance secretary Mrs. Brandi Giddings was among the field trip chaperones and also captured photos at the event to share with our school community.
The NEOCCF annually hosts representatives from approximately 100 colleges and universities, as well as career preparatory organizations. The field trip is offered on a voluntary basis to CHS juniors and seniors each year, with approximately 25 Hilltoppers attending the 2023 event.
The Fair provided Hilltoppers with the opportunity to meet with educational representatives, explore academic offerings, attend a financial aid seminar, tour the Kent campus, and have lunch in a KSU dining hall.
Additional college and career experiential opportunities await CHS upperclassmen throughout the school year!
