In honor of School Board Recognition Month, the Chardon Board of Education was showered with tokens of appreciation at the January 4, 2023 regular board meeting. Gifts included student expressions of gratitude through signed cards, and each board member received a personalized Hilltopper clipboard and mug.
Superintendent Hanlon stated at the meeting: "Each year, we thank the members of our Board for their commitment to public service. We recognize the work of a Board member is largely voluntary in nature and that each of our members is committed to promoting success for all students and to advocating our schools within the community."
