March 11, 2023 — The Chardon High School Topp-notch A Cappella 9-member vocal ensemble, comprising seniors Grace George, Noah Gerlica, Cole Hess, Paige Nells, Colin Snider, and Morgan Strlich-Waybright — juniors TJ Decipeda and Selah Rogers — and sophomore Vince Piotrkowski, treated Chardon Middle School students to live performances during the March 6 school day.
The Hilltopper vocalists visited the middle school to perform during all eight lunch periods and were met with lots of clapping along with smiles. Pieces performed included “Set Fire to the Rain” (Adele), “She’s Got a Way” (Billy Joel), and “Viva La Vida” (Coldplay).
The vocalists concluded the day with a visit to the sixth- and seventh-grade choir classes.
CHS choir director Mr. Streiff stated, “Topp-notch A Cappella served as wonderful ambassadors for CHS and the Chardon choral program.”
