July 27, 2023 — Chardon Schools is excited to have launched two new welcome initiatives this summer for fully registered Kindergarten families:

Request an "I Enrolled in Kindergarten!" yard sign
Share an "I'm Ready for Kindergarten!" student quote

Superintendent Mike Hanlon kicked off the distribution of
"I Enrolled in Kindergarten!" yard signs on July 19.

Superintendent Mike Hanlon stated: "The District recognizes Kindergarten is an especially big and exciting milestone. Our invitations to request a sign and talk to us about Kindergarten were created as a summer outreach initiative to connect with families before entering our school building for Kindergarten screenings and the first day of school. Our administrators, educators and support staff look forward to officially welcoming Class of 2036 students in August on their journeys toward high achievement in our schools."

Kindergarten parents/guardians interested in participating in either or both of these optional welcome projects can complete the following form(s) at their earliest convenience:
