Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section (RC) 3313.413 notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of the Chardon Local School District (Board) that the Board intends to place for public sale one (1) parcel of real property at public auction on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 9:00 AM at the Chardon Local Schools District Administration
Building, 428 North Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024.
Parcel Description
PPN 10-709595 – 60.52 acres located on Canfield Dr. in the City of Chardon LSD.
Legal Description: Parcel “A” Deed 1359-381.
Notwithstanding any title information contained in this notice, the Owner expressly disclaims any representations as to the state of the title to the Property involved as of the date of the notice of the date of sale. The property to be sold at the sale is "AS IS WHERE IS". TERMS OF SALE A deposit of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer's check or other check satisfactory to the Owner’s attorney will be required to be delivered at or before the time a bid is offered. The successful bidder(s) will be required to execute a purchase and sale agreement
immediately after the close of the bidding. The purchase and sale agreement will be considered tentative pending acceptance or rejection by the Board at its next regular meeting scheduled on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 6:30 PM. The balance of the purchase price shall be paid, in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer’s check or other check satisfactory to the Owner’s attorney, within thirty (30) days from the regular meeting where the Board accepts the purchase and sale agreement. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to cancel or continue the sale and
to amend the terms of the sale by written or oral announcement made before or during the sale.
