June 3, 2022 — Window and roof replacement projects commenced this spring at Chardon High School. Assistant Superintendent of Business Affairs Mr. Steven Kofol is pleased to report on the current status of those projects:
- CHS Window Replacement Project — Underway and slated for completion by the end of June 2022.
(56 windows & 17 curtain walls in all) Window project funded by ESSER/federal monies.
- CHS Roof Replacement Project - Underway with 5 sections completed and 3 more in progress (of the facility's 27 roofs). Project is a complete roof tear-off and replacement. Roof project funded by Permanent Improvement
(PI) monies.
Both projects were detailed by Mr. Kofol in his Capital Improvement Projects presentation to the Chardon board of education at the Feb. 22 regular board meeting.
