April 25, 2022 — As we look ahead to launching the summer 2022 edition of the Kids Read Now® Program for students currently in grades K-3, we are providing parents/caregivers from our K-3 schools (Chardon Early Learning Center, Munson Elementary and Park Elementary) with 3 introductory materials to review at this time to optimize their student's success in this FREE TO YOU program:
The Kids Read Now® program is made possible for Chardon Local Schools K-3 students by the $1.1 million Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant awarded to our school district in Fall 2020!
K-3 students are making their book selections in class this month with delivery of the first book to arrive to their households in May or June!
For questions about the Kids Read Now® program, please contact your student's teacher before the end of the school year.
**NOTE: This summer 2022 reading program is offered for all students who are in grade levels K-3 during this current (2021-22) school year. In addition to this optional program, current third-grade students (2022-23 incoming 4th graders) will be receiving a required summer 2022 reading assignment from Chardon Middle School before the end of the current school year.**
