Greetings 5th-grade families:
Each year during 4th grade in Chardon Local Schools our district nursing staff presents a maturation presentation to our students. Due to the COVID-19 shutdown last school year, your children did not receive this information. As we stated last year, it is our intent to present this timely information to your children this year. These presentations are planned for Friday, 9/18/2020. Boys and girls will be separated and age-appropriate and gender-specific information will be presented.
There has historically been a parent presentation so parents could hear first-hand what information was going to be presented. Due to our constraints this year, parents can review THIS very brief slide presentation highlighting the learning goals and objectives of the sessions. In addition, embedded within the presentation are links directly to the videos that will be shown and discussed.
Current 5th-grade students enrolled in our 100% virtual "BLUE" programming will be assigned a screencast to watch through google classroom that will present the exact same information, and will have the opportunity to submit questions to Mrs. Fay electronically.
