May 24, 2023 — As is year-end tradition in Mrs. Bunker's class at Chardon High School, Hilltoppers presented final exam slideshows to an audience of peers, teachers, and parents and guardians. Guest attendees also included School Resource Officer Elam, Assistant Principal Ms. Pavicic, Speech-Language Pathologist Mrs. Cook, and student class assistant and LAX-ABLED founder Makenna Ricketts — a junior at CHS. This year's event took place on May 24.
In advance, each student devoted time to creating their own slideshow presentation highlighting their favorite classroom and off-site experiences from the school year. The students then prepared to share those highlights to flex their public speaking skills.

- City of Chardon Walking Field Trips
- Chardon After Prom and After Prom Concessions volunteering
- The Great Geauga County Fair field trip
- Hilltopper Marching Band, Chardon
- King Kone visits
- The Little Free Food Pantry in Chardon - stocking it up!
- Mentor Headlands field trip
- Perry High School's luau
- Thanksgiving Meal Prep / Most Influential Person segment
- Topper Shop volunteering via Chardon Athletic Boosters

Students also discussed upcoming opportunities they are excited about, including summertime jobs, fall cheerleading, and 3D printing in the upcoming school year. Additionally, Q&A sessions were held after each presentation.
At the conclusion, seniors Delaney Hagan and Justin Friedman were honored by Mrs. Bunker with meaningful tribute slideshows complete with farewell and gratitude notes from peers and staff.
As is tradition, the whole class then headed off to Mel Harder Park with their families and teachers for a picnic lunch and kickball!
