The Chardon Local School District will open Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year beginning February 1, 2018. To attend Kindergarten this Fall, a child must be five years old on or before August 1, 2018. The District offers two educational options:
1) All-Day-Every-Other-Day Kindergarten where students attend Tue/Thu or Wed/Fri and alternating Mondays
2) Tuition based All-Day-Every-Day (ADEK) Kindergarten class
You can begin the registration process by going to the Chardon Schools homepage at
www.chardonschools.org and completing the online registration form.
To complete the registration process, we ask that you schedule an appointment with the school district. This appointment will take approximately twenty minutes. You must bring your child’s birth certificate (original), one proof of residency (e.g. driver's license, voter registration card, utility bill, credit card statement, lease agreement, or affidavit of residence), immunization records and any legal documents pertaining to family situations (i.e., guardianship, custody) to your registration. It is not necessary for you to bring your child to registration.
