The Chardon High School Drama Department will present The Curious Savage by John Patrick, November 15-18 at Park Auditorium on Chardon Square.
The Curious Savage, first performed on Broadway in 1950, is a comedic play about Ethel Savage, an elderly woman whose husband recently died and left her approximately ten million dollars. Contrasting the kindness and loyalty of psychiatric patients with the avarice and vanity of "respectable" public figures, it calls into question conventional definitions of sanity while lampooning celebrity culture.
Curtain time is 7:00 pm November 15-17th, and 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 18th.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Senior citizens are also invited to attend the Wednesday night
Dress Rehearsal free of charge.
